The Dell Latitude 7420 is an imported premium business laptop for professionals in Egypt who need a thin, carbon-fiber-class build with strong connectivity. The vPro Core i7-1185G7 has 4 cores and 8 threads, memory is soldered up to 32GB of LPDDR4x, and a single M.2 PCIe slot holds up to 1TB of fast NVMe storage. Graphics are Intel Iris Xe integrated only, and the 14-inch FHD IPS display comes in 250 or 400-nit variants depending on configuration.
Why Choose the Latitude 7420
- vPro Business ProcessingThe i7-1185G7 boosts up to 4.8GHz and includes Intel vPro for corporate manageability and remote security features.
- Fast LPDDR4x MemoryLPDDR4x at up to 4267MHz delivers quick responsiveness for everyday multitasking, even though it is soldered and fixed at purchase.
- Fast NVMe StorageA single M.2 PCIe NVMe slot supports up to 1TB SSDs for quick boot and app load times.
- Dual Thunderbolt 4Two Thunderbolt 4 ports support Power Delivery and DisplayPort over USB-C for fast docking and external displays.
- Premium Compact BuildAt around 1.22kg, this is a light, easy-to-carry laptop for daily travel and hybrid work.
- Intel Iris Xe GraphicsIntegrated graphics handle everyday office tasks, video calls and light photo editing well.
In real work, the i7-1185G7 handles office suites, browser-heavy multitasking, video conferencing and light media editing comfortably. There is no discrete GPU on this chassis, so it is not intended for CAD, 3D rendering or gaming workloads — it is built for business productivity, not graphics-intensive work.
Some honest limits. Memory is soldered to the motherboard, so the 32GB ceiling is fixed at purchase and cannot be upgraded later — check the variant for your needed RAM before you buy. Graphics are Intel Iris Xe integrated only, with no discrete GPU option. There is no 4K UHD display option confirmed for this chassis — only FHD is available, at either 250 or 400 nits depending on the panel.
