The Dell Latitude 7490 is the premium end of the 14-inch Latitude line, built for professionals in Egypt who carry their laptop everywhere. The quad-core 8th Gen Core i5 is a big step up from older dual-core business machines, the FullHD screen is easy on the eyes, and at about 1.4 kg it slips into any bag. This unit is imported Grade A and inspected before it reaches you.
Why Choose the Latitude 7490
- Quad-Core PerformanceThe Core i5-8350U brings four cores and eight threads, up to 3.6GHz, for smooth multitasking.
- Two RAM SlotsStart with 8GB and upgrade to 32GB of DDR4 later through two SODIMM slots.
- Light and SturdyAbout 1.4 kg in a business-grade chassis made for daily travel.
- FullHD DisplayA 14-inch 1920x1080 screen with an anti-glare finish for office lighting.
- Real Business PortsUSB-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet and a microSD reader.
The Latitude 7490 handles Office, accounting software, ERP systems, browser-heavy research and online meetings without trouble. NVMe storage keeps startup and file opening quick, and the USB-C port lets you drive an external monitor from a dock.
Honest limits: graphics are integrated Intel UHD 620, so skip it for modern games, 3D or video rendering; look at a Dell Precision for that. RAM tops out at 32GB, which is plenty for office work but not for virtual machine heavy use. It is an 8th Gen machine, so Windows 11 support depends on your own setup; it ships ready for Windows 10 / 11 Pro use. The 256GB SSD can be replaced with a larger M.2 drive.
