The HP ZBook Studio x360 G5 is an imported convertible mobile workstation for Egyptian engineers, designers and architects who want a pen-capable, 360° hinge machine with real workstation graphics. The Core i7-9850H has 6 cores and 12 threads, two SODIMM slots take up to 32GB of DDR4, and two M.2 slots hold up to 2TB of NVMe storage. Graphics and display vary by unit, from Intel UHD 630 for everyday use up to an NVIDIA Quadro P2000 with a 4K touch screen.
Why Choose the ZBook Studio x360 G5
- 6-Core ProcessingThe i7-9850H boosts up to 4.6GHz, handling CAD, sketching software and multitasking well.
- Up to 32GB DDR4Two SODIMM slots take 2x16GB, so memory is upgradable and not soldered.
- Dual NVMe StorageTwo M.2 slots let you run a fast system drive plus a separate project drive, up to 2TB total.
- ISV-Certified Quadro GraphicsUnits with a Quadro P1000 or P2000 (both 4GB) are certified for professional CAD and design software.
- 4-in-1 Convertible DesignUse it in laptop, tablet, tent or stand mode with an active pen, ideal for sketching and reviewing designs.
- Touch FHD or 4K DisplayPick a touch FHD panel for battery life, or a 4K UHD touch panel for detail-critical design review.
In real work, the i7-9850H with 32GB of DDR4 comfortably covers AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit models, multi-layer Photoshop and Illustrator files, and everyday virtual machines. On units with a Quadro P1000 or P2000 you also get certified GPU acceleration for CAD viewports, and the tablet and tent modes with pen support suit design reviews and client presentations that a fixed clamshell cannot match.
Some honest limits. Every unit is a different configuration, so check the variant for exact RAM, storage, graphics and display before you buy. This is a 2018-era 9th-generation platform, so it is behind current CPUs in raw speed. The Quadro P1000/P2000 are entry workstation GPUs suited to certified CAD viewports, not heavy 3D rendering. The convertible hinge and touch glass add weight and thickness compared to a fixed clamshell of the same screen size.
Who It's Built For
